Cross-Scale Study on Lime Modified Phosphogypsum Cemented Backfill by Fractal Theory

Pore structure is a critical factor affecting the strength characteristics of mine backfill materials. In this paper, based on mechanical tests lime modified phosphogypsum cemented (LMPGCB), microstructure LMPGCB sample was characterized by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) imaging. Based fractal theory (FT), values expressing NMR T2 spectrum SEM images were determined. The mathematical model between NMR-FT dimension SEM-FT box developed to infer overall pore from various characteristics. functional relationships content established, effects discussed. results indicate that: (1) in dimension, effect types pores better. small 0.86–1.38, which trend first decreases then increases. (2) decreased increased at each kind magnification. Furthermore, with increase magnification, decreases. (3) There linear direct proportional relationship dimensions pores. conforms plane relationship. linearly increasing decreasing strength.
